Directional Drilling
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is a method used to instal utility pipeline and conduits. This is a popular method of drilling because it allows for installations below rivers, roads and existing infrastructure.
Guided Boring
Our experienced team specializes in guided auger boring when the project calls for tight tolerance casing installations. This method is can be a viable option when “high risk” bores are necessary due to variable ground conditions and when various utilities are being crossed or bored next to.
BMTA (Boring Machine Tunneling Attachment)
AccuLine Underground is capable of utilizing BMTA’s (Boring machine tunneling attachments) in order to have line and grade, spoil (cuttings) inflow, and face pressure control with large diameter casing installations.
Line of Sight Piloting
Horizontal Line of sight piloting is the utmost accurate piloting method today. Our trained and experienced team employs LOS pilots in high tolerance line and grade scenarios. From sand to hard rock environments, we can produce an accurate pilot whether being used for ground exploration or guided boring/jacking efforts.
Remote Cradle Boring
The utilization of cradle boring machines (CBM) has been around for a long time. With operation on the CBM becoming more dangerous, innovations have led to the development of remote cradle boring machines (RCBM). These machines are remote control operated which takes the operator off the machine creating a much safer work environment. This technique suspends the RCBM by side booms reducing setup time by not requiring a starting pit. Overall this method allows for more bores to be completed in less time.
