In January of 2021, the AccuLine team was contracted on a project in Monroe, Ny. This project required pipe-ramming to install the 42″ casings. The first crossing, under a protected stream, was successfully completed in one day. Following the first crossing the AccuLine team set up on the second crossing under a roadway. Going off of the supplied geo-technical information, the team started the crossing using the traditional auger boring method. Our team quickly realized the necessity to pipe ram the crossing to safely and successfully complete the 100ft drive. Throughout the last 90′ of the crossing the team encountered purely basketball size, and bigger rock cobble. Though this ground condition made for a grueling cleanout, the team pressed on and successfully completed the crossing.
