At the end of September of 2020, the AccuLine team was contracted by Primoris to complete 36in HDD slick bores, and a 48in guided auger bore on an Exxon Mobile main line installation in webster, Tx. In the beginning of AccuLine’s time on site, the team quickly completed two HDD slick bores pulling 36in gas line, in sticky clay ground conditions. Following the HDD slick bores, the team started on the 48in guided bore under the UP-rail line and HWY 3. AccuLine first installed a line-of-sight pilot, perfectly on line and grade. Following the pilot, a 24in mid-pass was installed throughout the crossing. This mid-pass was utilized in order lessen the amount of material removed per pass and to better support the 48in pipe, on line and grade, during boring operations. The AccuLine team successfully entered the exit pit, perfectly on line and grade.
