At the end of August of 2020, The AccuLine team reunited with Tri-state trenchless to complete the second 24/7 72in tunnel in Mobile, Al. Following the completion of the first tunnel completed by the team, everyone had a good understanding of what to expect when entering the ground. Similar to the first successful tunnel, the team fought through wet running sand and buried tree stumps throughout the crossing. When nearing the end of the drive, the team was surprised by buried I-beam at centerline of the tunnel head. Through all adversity of the 72in drive, the team entered into the exit pit at 4am to successfully complete the crossing.
